Project Description

KEE Web GIS was a web-based geospatial data portal developed at Eratosthenes S.A. for Greek public sector clients. The platform provided map-based access to spatial datasets for environmental management, land use planning, and infrastructure inventory.

Key features included:

  • OGC-compliant WMS and WFS services built on top of SQL Server Spatial
  • Interactive web map interface using OpenLayers with layer switching, transparency controls, and spatial query tools
  • Attribute query builder for non-GIS users
  • Print-to-PDF functionality for A3/A4 map export
  • Role-based access control for different client organisations

The platform was deployed for multiple clients including regional administration bodies and environmental monitoring agencies.
